A-Eye is an educational app to teach users to differentiate between real and AI-generated content, including images, videos, audio, and text, in a fun, yet informative way.

Many of our interviewees stated that they were only compelled to play educational games where there was a competitive daily challenge aspect or streak, such as the NYT Games.

Learning modules represented as “steps” in a “journey’ has proven to be effective to users in language learning apps, such as DuoLingo. With AI images, videos, audio, and text as options, users have the ability to work on the AI recognition they struggle with the most.

Through research, we found that games such as the NYT Wordle and NYT Connections, largely contribute their success to being able to track your score, and share your score with friends.
Our goal is to help users stay educated about AI and its capabilities and to help them stay safe from faux content online
